 It has been 240 days. 

240 days since 7th October 2023.

What happened on that date, you might think?

WAR ON GAZA.

I am afraid. I know sooner or later this war will knock on everyone's door.

Not because the war on Gaza is anything religious but because is-not-real often spreads the propaganda that it is.

Anyway, I am also afraid that I am getting desensitized to this war now.

It does not cross my mind as often. 

When I open my Instagram, it is flooded with posts. From people of GAZA. They are filming. In their broken English language. So that we may understand. Children as young as 2-3, who can not even speak clearly, teenagers, adults, and the elderly. I see everyone on there. Family living in a tent. Children who carry water. Children who search for a morsel in an empty pot. Children who dropped that food while carrying it. Children who pick that up. Children lying in the arms of their parents. Children in the hospital ask for their parents. Children crying at the graves of their parents. If they could find one. Children who carry their dead siblings in carry bag on their back. Children who are amputated. Without anesthesia. Children who are burnt. Children who are buried under the rubble. Children who need to help their parents under the rubble. 

DEAD CHILDREN. 

and the world still goes on.

I can not bear to look at my Instagram feed anymore honestly. But I have followed so many pages and I can not afford to look away. I need to witness. That's the least I could do.
